BASEBALL SEASON

The Texas Iron Spikes is the official spirit group of the University of Texas Baseball Team, and we strive to earn that honor weekdays at Disch-Falk Field. As the leaders of the student section out in left field or the YETI yard, we rally behind Longhorns while showing every visiting team just how rowdy we can get. We set this tone hours before first pitch with tailgates before select home games, with food and refreshing beer provided by our sponsors. With good music and even better company, each tailgate gets everyone in the mood to cheer on Texas baseball and celebrate the Longhorn spirit.

Football SeasoN

Baseball isn’t the only sport we cheer for. As a university-recognized spirit group on the 40 Acres, the Texas Iron Spikes proudly support the Longhorn football program with tailgates at EVERY home game. Thanks to continued sponsorship in the fall, we host hundreds of students each week with grilled food, drinks, music, and fun. We even follow the team to Dallas every fall for the iconic Red River Rivalry game against OU. So come on, join us and experience a good time on the 40 acres!
